Hi, I'm Vivian — and this is Cyndercake ✨
Cyndercake is a kawaii art brand rooted in joy, imagination, and the belief that a little sparkle can go a long way. I'm Vivian Nguyen, a Vietnamese-Chinese American artist and the creator behind every character, pin, plushie, and sticker you'll find in this shop.
What started as a love for cute art and Japanese kawaii culture grew into a whole universe of original characters, handcrafted goods, and a community of people who believe in spreading kindness — one adorable design at a time.

🐻 Vivi-Bear
Vivi-Bear is a kawaii fluffy bear who loves to dress up and make new friends. Born on July 4th, she's the heart of the Cyndercake universe — and she lives by one motto: "Share your sparkle to those who are kind." She was the first character to come to life, and she's been spreading warmth ever since. You'll find her on enamel pins, plushies, keychains, and more.
🐕 Sweetie Shiba
Sweetie Shiba was discovered in a pile of stardust by Vivi-Bear — and became her very best companion. She loves the color purple, greeting new friends with enthusiastic licks, warm bubble baths, and belly rubs. She's pure sunshine in shiba form, and she's here to remind you that friendship can be found in the most magical places.

🦝 Riku the Red Panda
The newest member of the Cyndercake family, Riku arrived in January 2025 with a message that hits close to home: you are a shining star, and no one can dim your light. What We Make 🎀
Cyndercake is a mix of two things I love: curated Japanese kawaii goods from brands I adore, and original Cyndercake-designed merchandise featuring our characters. You'll find:

Kickstarter — Fairytale Magic Dresses for Vivi-Bear (2024)
We launched a community-funded campaign to bring a line of magical girl-inspired dresses to life for the Vivi-Bear plushie. The support from our community made it possible. See the campaign →

As a Vietnamese-Chinese American artist, being invited to showcase at LinkedIn's HQ in Sunnyvale — for the second time — during AAPI Heritage Month was deeply meaningful. It's about more than selling art; it's about visibility, pride, and community.

It’s always like Christmas opening my Cyndercake packages! Everything is so much cuter in person! I recently got the Vivi Bear plush and it’s one of my favorites that I own! The colors are so pretty and vibrant! Shipping is also quite fast and everything is packaged so nicely.
What a lovely shop! I stumbled upon it while searching high and low for this super cute Rakko plush keychain. I came for the keychain, but stayed for this shop's cuteness overload lol. I couldn't help it, I LOVE how it's a mix of original work and other cute things. All of my fav things under one roof! As a fellow artist, this was a very inspiring experience :") From the easy checkout process to the quick shipping. I actually really appreciated the follow up emails as well, they kept me posted without being too much. I could tell there's lot of love and care put into packing their orders as well. The business card is so cute & the personalized postcard was such a sweet touch<3 It's going on my wall LOL. I'm super happy with my order.
